Family Fashion for Spring

Feel that warm breeze?  That means spring is on its way!  I’ve always thought of spring as a transitional time for your wardrobe, as well as the perfect excuse for wearing fun colors and patterns.  So throw your winter wardrobe into storage because perfect spring styles have arrived at Family Dollar, and your family is going to love ‘em.

Spring fashion was blooming in the kids’ section.  There were shorts, outfits, and dresses galore.  For girls, I loved these plaid shorts because they’ll go with so many things—and my daughter loved that they were pink.

There are lots of easy outfits for infants and up, plus the shoes to go with them from pretty sandals to fresh slip-on sneakers.

These boys’ shorts and matching tops are convenient as well as trendy.  Plus, the price can’t be beat.  Many of them could be mixed and matched as well, making life with an active boy who sometimes needs a midday outfit change easier (trust me!).

My husband lives in mesh shorts when he’s not at work, so that’s a great item to stock up on when you can find them.  These plaid shorts are perfect for the 4th of July, or any BBQ party for that matter!  My husband likes this pair because it looks great with a graphic tee or polo style shirt, depending on where he’s going.

One of the hottest spring and summer fashions for women is the maxi skirt.  Check out this striped beauty just begging for warmer weather!  It’s perfect for casual dinners or shopping and running errands as well.  I’m not sure which I love more, the pretty stripes or the low price tag.

Neutral shorts are great because you can wear almost any color top.  A dressier top makes them more formal and a tee is perfect for running errands.  I’ve also been known to wear them over bathing suits too, so I’m always ready for a dip in the pool.

There were lots of great tops to choose from, but the frilly sleeves and hot pink color of this blouse had me at ‘hello.’

Espadrille shoes?  Yes, please.

I also love the rhinestone flip-flops because they go with everything.  I wear flip-flops from May through September, so it’s nice to have a ‘dressier’ pair. Gotta have some bling, right?

Outfitting the family doesn’t need to cost a fortune.  Stores such as Family Dollar offer a range of clothing perfect for spring, so you can spend the money you’ll save on other spring pursuits… like that ice cream cone that’s calling your name.  Finding great clothes at low prices makes me feel as happy as this joyful illustration we spotted on a girls’ t-shirt during our shopping spree!
